The Partnership appoints new Publications Manager

Jersey-born Gary James has been appointed Publications Manager for the Jersey office of The Partnership.

Gary, a graduate from Anglia Polytechnic University, studied at Victoria College before taking a gap year to travel around Asia and Central America.

“Travelling around the world really was a great way to broaden the mind and having a gap year meant I could take the time to appreciate different cultures – it helped me to understand what makes Jersey so special.”

Kiri Turpin, Director of the Jersey arm of the Partnership, an award winning advertising and marketing agency with offices in UK, Dubai, Jersey and Guernsey said; “ Gary’s appointment will help us to ensure that our advertising sales continue to flourish and his strong skills in sales and customer liaison will be of huge benefit. He will be responsible for improving the range of strategic choices available to clients, increasing uplift on spend and ensuring that potential clients of the firm are aware of just what we can offer in terms of design, advertising and marketing.”

Before joining The Partnership, Gary worked in the financial sector but a change in work circumstances refocused his commitment to sales as a career choice. His new role will develop and focus these core skills as he drives forward the company’s portfolio of business magazines, lifestyle and tourism publications.
